Our No-Cost Markets

Food Share = Food Pantry = No-Cost Market

If you’re facing food insecurity, it can be difficult to decipher between many places with different names. While the term “food pantry” is still common, we prefer to use the word “no-cost market,” because while the food you’ll take away came from a variety of people, organizations, or locations, it is given to you at no cost.

Our No-Cost Markets Include all places people get food & essentials from us:
  • Fort Collins Fresh Food Share
  • Loveland Fresh Food Share
  • Nutritious Kitchen
  • Nourishing Network/Agency Partner program
  • Mobile Food Shares

The Food Bank’s two Fresh Food Share locations are our two brick-and-mortar Food Bank locations for shopping. Just like a grocery store, clients choose what they take away. We offer a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, meat, dairy and shelf-stable items – all at no cost to shoppers.

No one who says they need food is turned away.

Mobile Markets

In October 2016, we launched our first Mobile Food Pantry in partnership with the Foothills Unitarian Church. Since then, the Food Bank has grown to three mobile markets in an effort to distribute food to where neighbors need it the most.

Family Medicine Center Pantry

In partnership with UCHealth and the Family Medicine Center in Fort Collins, neighbors needing food assistance have access to another fresh food pantry in our community. As researchers continue to demonstrate the link between hunger and health, the FMC pantry provides clinic patients with the option to pick up healthy food options after their appointments. The pantry is also open to non-patients who might find the location more convenient or accessible.

Link2Feed is a client intake software that safely and confidentially stores information. The software helps determine program eligibilityand provides the Food Bank for Larimer County and its partners’ information about hunger relief efforts in our community.
