How Does it Work?

Food Bank for Larimer County works with local retailers and farmers as well as national growers and food manufacturers to bring in donated food to distribute through our Food Share pantry. Qualified individuals may visit Food Share up to two times each week (in either Fort Collins or Loveland or at our new Mobile Food Pantry). We provide bread, dairy products, fresh fruits and vegetables and non-perishable food items for FREE. Guests “shop” for their own food and personally select items their households want and/or need. Food Share guests also can receive government commodities under two different programs: The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and Commodities Supplemental Food Program (CFSP).

Please bring the following:

  • A photo ID or driver’s license.
  • A bill, lease agreement or piece of mail displaying your name and physical address in Larimer County.
  • Current pay stub, current year’s statement of SS, SSI, SSDI, SSD, OAP or veteran benefits.
