The holiday season is fast approaching, but for an estimated 37,500 individuals in our community, the holidays add more stress for those trying to make ends meet. You can help ensure every neighbor enjoys a traditional Thanksgiving meal this holiday season. Together we can provide hope for the holidays.
This year, we are making it easier than ever to be the difference in someone’s life this holiday season. The Food Bank is hosting a Stuff the Truck Turkey Donation Drive Thursday, November 15, from 3 – 6 pm, at the corner of College and Drake, in the old Kmart parking lot.
All you need to do is purchase a frozen turkey, find our big tractor-trailer in the old Kmart parking lot, and drop the turkey off on November 15, between 3 and 6 pm. That’s all it takes to make someone’s holiday a little brighter.
If you are unable to make it to the Stuff the Truck event, you can deliver a frozen turkey to any of our three Food Bank locations. Donation location information can be found here.
Thank you in advance for helping us STUFF the truck and helping our neighbors in need.
