Take a Virtual Tour of the Food Bank
Have you ever wondered how the Food Bank gets food and then gets it to the people who need it? It’s a lot more complicated than you might think. Food drive food, grocery partner donations, farm-fresh produce and purchased product – there’s a lot of moving parts getting food from point to point and place to place. Last year, the Food Bank distributed more than 10.5 million pounds of food to those in need in the community. That’s a lot of food.
So, how do we do it? For the answer to that question and more, take a few minutes to go on a virtual tour with the Food Bank’s Heather Buoniconti as she explains how the whole process works.
