A great way to rally support for the Food Bank as we head into the holiday season is to start your own food or fund drive!
Here are a couple of quick pointers on how to get started and make your drive a success.
Food drive:
For a food drive, start by completing our online food drive and essentials form found here.
Some of our most needed items include pantry staples, like peanut butter, cereal, pasta and rice. Find the complete list here.
If you need any branded Food Bank boxes or containers for collection, the food drive form will help you get connected with a staff member who can arrange for you to pick up these items.
If you have any questions, just reach out to Nancy Tafoya, Philanthropy Coordinator Corporate and Community Engagement.
Fund drive:
You can create your very own fundraiser to help provide food and hope to individuals and families in Larimer County.
For every $1 raised, the Food Bank is able to purchase enough food for two meals. This makes a virtual drive an impactful, easy to share initiative to fight hunger in your community.
Visit our virtual fundraiser page here and decide whether you would like to fundraise as an individual, start a team or celebrate a special occasion. Then, customize your page to your liking!
Now, you’re ready to share your page with your network and invite others to join. If you have any questions, just contact Nancy Tafoya, Philanthropy Coordinator Corporate and Community Engagement.
