Child Nutrition

Our Child Nutrition programs include Kids Cafe, Kids Link, Lunch Lab, and Backpack program. Kids Cafe provides nutritious meals and snacks after school and during the summer at sites throughout Larimer County.

Volunteers who visit our kitchen to support the child nutrition program pack snacks and lunches by the hundreds!

In partnership with the Junior League of Fort Collins, Kids Link supplies packaged snacks to qualifying schools to assist children who display signs of hunger. Backpack, in cooperation with Loveland Rotary, McKinney and Longs Peak Rotary, supplies weekend food packs filled with easy to prepare meals and snacks.

Our Child Nutrition Programs:

Senior Nutrition

The Food Bank partners with Volunteers of America (VOA) to provide nutritious meals to seniors 60 years of age and older. We provide made-from-scratch meals that are distributed to seniors at multiple sites throughout Larimer County.

Volunteers who visit our kitchen work hard to support our Food Share program. A program that distributes food provided by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). As an additional service, we deliver CSFP commodity boxes and fresh fruits to homebound seniors in low-income housing developments. Read more here.
