Giving to the Food Bank offers many benefits. Not only do you contribute to fighting hunger in Larimer County, but it’s a great way to receive a tax benefit. It’s important to note that donations do take time to process, so please give before the end of December to have your contribution processed by the end of the year. This includes IRA and QCD gifts!

In the “old days” (think 1980s and 90s), food banks rarely rescued fresh foods; they were more focused on shelf-stable foods. Once we did start to distribute produce and other fresh foods, it was immediately successful and continued to grow in positive ways very quickly.
